Christina Davis joined the Virginia Commonwealth University Interdisciplinary Studies Program in June 2022 after working for VCU’s Division of Student Affairs for six years. Christina recently completed her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education from VCU’s School of Education. She was a post-traditional student who earned her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree from the VCU IDS Program with a focus on International Social Justice with minors in Anthropology and Religious Studies in 2020 and her Associates in Business Administration from John Tyler Community College in 2008. As a post-traditional and transfer student, Christina is an advocate of supporting the students' quest to succeed and overcome barriers. She believes that every student brings about their own individual experiences and knowledge that can be applied interdisciplinarily through creativity, innovation, perseverance, collaboration and critical analysis. 

She enjoys taking care of her rose garden, volunteering for cultural and educational programming, student engagement events and social justice initiatives. Christina is passionate about the student having a holistic, positive and successful college experience that will transcend into their career and civic lives.
