Interdisciplinary Career Readiness Skills Minor

Program is home to the Interdisciplinary Career Readiness Skills (I.C.S.) minor, an 18-credit pathway to the development of today’s most highly sought-after job skills. Research conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) has identified eight Career Readiness Competencies that employers across industries value most in new hires. The I.C.S. minor gathers classes from across VCU to create a new way for students to build those competencies, and then demonstrate their proficiency through a final portfolio project.
